i enrolled in a summer online course organized by Ms Krithika Srinivasan from Laurea UAS,
the course included a weekly contact session and and a lot of home works ,
it is designed to give students an idea about social media tools and how to use them for various application .
we had weekly online session of contact tuition using a tool from adobe that allows teacher to interact with students.
we also used a platform similar to Moodle where we had to submit our homeworks and where we also found related course materials .
the instructor also setup a Facebook page to ease communication with us students .
the course included the HowTo of various tools and websites of social media
i was already familiar with some of them like Facebook Twitter and linked in but i also got to know new ones like Hibbo which is an online virtual Hotel if you may .i also learned how to use a very handy tool for making bookmarks and sharing them ,the tool is called Diigo and it basically stores your bookmark in a"cloud" where you can access them any where and you can also share them with others on the web .
the course was very informative but also a bit time consuming as the number of home works is great .
over all i am happy with the experience and i recommend it for other future students
